Duane K. Rossmann

CEO

Duane K. Rossmann is a proven leader in health management with more than three decades of success in the health industry. His experience encompasses management of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers and physician practices. He has merger and acquisition experience in buying and selling hospitals, medical office buildings, surgery centers, physician practices and managed care plans. He has experience working in for-profit facilities as well as university teaching hospitals. His prior positions include hospital CEO, regional multi-facility oversight and as a consultant to clients in a variety of market sectors.

He formed Duane Rossmann & Associates, LLC in 1996 to provide clients who need an experienced health executive to tackle complicated projects in the competitive healthcare industry. A partial list of clients includes First National Bank, Foundation Surgical Hospital Partners, Premier PPO, HCA International, Afghan Hospital Relief and Rotary International. His employers through his career include HCA, HealthTrust, Surgis, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Louisiana Texas Healthcare Management, and United Surgical Partners International.

Mr. Rossmann’s international health care experience includes projects in Argentina, Pakistan, India, France, Chad, Kenya, Haiti, and Mexico. In 2007 he was hired as a consultant to Medicins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders--attached to their headquarters in Paris, France. He has worked to improve the delivery of hospital care to third world populations facing extremely difficult living conditions. Mr. Rossmann holds a Masters Degree in Public Health with emphasis in Health Systems and Hospital Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center in Houston, TX. Gulf Coast Regional is one of the largest blood distribution agencies in the United States.

Woodrow M. Moore

Mr. Moore expedites the Development and Operations of profitable and progressive physician-driven ventures (Physician Partnership Syndications, Surgical Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Imaging Centers, Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine programming, Occupational Medicine, Sleep Labs, Integrated Medical Real Estate Ventures, Physician Practice Management).

THE PHYSICIAN’S ADVOCATE, Founded in 1994 by Woodrow Moore, is a virtual corporation which scales to any project & delivers integrity-driven executive Development and Operational Management Services for high-performing healthcare groups. Serving clients as their accomplished “independent-resource”, the Physician’s Advocate facilitates the acquisition/merger, funding, development, ownership and/or operations of ancillary healthcare services. Progressive healthcare organizations, on both a local and national basis, contract with The Physician’s Advocate to access experienced profit-focused skill sets of physician office management, ambulatory services’ business development, and considerable operational knowledge. The intelligent client is assured of being presented multiple options and innumerable resources. The Physician’s Advocate also brings immediate credibility to managing transitional operational issues.

Shawn C. Fry

CEO

Our CEO, Shawn Fry serves as a special advisor to the boards of directors of IT companies, hospitals and other corporations and is active in many day-to-day operational decisions.

Mr. Fry has continued to primarily focus on healthcare and after resigning as the CIO of a medium sized (1500 employee, $100+ million ) hospital system he spends his time consulting and building various applications and web portals to improve operational performance and ultimately creating a positive impact on the P&L. Using his combined IT and business skills to analyze their data and business processes to find missed revenue opportunities, work flow deficiencies and misapplied cost allocation issues that generate his clients millions per month in net dollars that were previously unobtainable.
